Keep planting those seeds

Hey Pythonista,

Jim Rohn tells this story about a farmer. He goes out each season, plows the field, plants the seeds, and then... waits. He knows not every seed will grow. Some get eaten by birds, some dry out, others just don’t take.

But he doesn’t stop planting. Because some will grow, and that’s enough.

This story came to mind after chatting with someone currently on the software dev job hunt.

  • You send out resumes

  • You write cover letters

  • You network

  • You interview

  • You get ghosted (Or worse, a “thanks, but no thanks.”)

It’s brutal.

But here’s the truth: this process works. Not because every application lands, but because you keep planting seeds

You don’t know which one will sprout, but one will... or a few and that’s all you need.

So keep showing up, keep applying, keep sharpening your story, keep learning.

Plant enough seeds, and something will grow.
