Bite-Sized Python News & Updates

Stay on top of the latest Python insights, projects and news from Pybites.
This week we have a challenge, more Rust, API docs, and a nice PDM win to share.

Up for a coding challenge? 😎

Hey Pythonista,

How is your week going?

It's been a while since we've sent one of these newsletters. We love and miss doing them so expect to receive one per week again 😄

To kick things off we want to let you know that our new monthly code challenge has dropped in the Circle Community.

In this one have you build a "streak calendar" in the command line (example above). As always, you can take this as far as you'd like, the main goal is to get coding and build things. Have fun!

Unlock Your Rust Potential 🦀

We have been adding a bunch of free Intro exercises to our Rust platform as prep work for our upcoming Introductory Rust Cohort program (12/15 done).

We're even adding a quick download option so you can do them locally (for example with the nice Rust Rover IDE).

We hope this helps you get the fundamentals of Rust down.

And if you already know Rust and would like to contribute one or more exercises, please let us know.

PyBites PDM program was an excellent experience and really delivered on expanding my skills. The combination of a coach who was invested in my progress and a project that I cared about made a great combo.
