Hey Pythonista,
After almost 10 years of building Pybites together, we're writing to share some big news about the future of the platform and our coaching programs.
TL;DR:
-
Coaching: Moving to our personal sites.
-
Coding Platforms & Community: No changes—they're staying!
-
Podcast & Newsletter: Going on hiatus.
The New Chapter
We've decided to branch off the coaching side of Pybites so we can each focus entirely on what we do best.
Over the years, we've realised we can be even better coaches when we go deep on our own "ONE thing" (as per Gary Keller's book):
-
Bob's strength is the code: Code reviews, architecture, and building real things with Python, Rust, and AI.
-
Julian's strength is the mindset: Helping developers get unstuck, build confidence, think bigger, and navigate their careers.
If you are currently seeking coaching, we'll now be providing our services independently. You can find us at our new digital homes:
-
Bob Belderbos: belderbos.dev – Developer coaching (Python, Rust, AI, code architecture, career growth).
-
Julian Sequeira: LinkedIn – Mindset and career coaching (confidence, clarity, breaking through blocks).

What's staying, and what's going
Most importantly, Pybites isn't going away.
The blog, the Circle community, and the coding platforms (Python and Rust bites) are all staying. We are still deeply committed to supporting these products and being present within the community.
Unfortunately, this does mean we are decomissioning this weekly newsletter and the Pybites Podcast.
Letting go of the podcast is especially hard given the amazing feedback you've consistently given us, but for now, we need to focus on these new chapters in our careers.
We'll still be creating quality content, just from our new personal platforms.
A sincere Thank You
We cannot thank you enough for being part of this chapter of Pybites' history. Your support has meant everything to us.
Pybites started as just two techie guys learning Python together. We've grown a lot over our years coaching developers, and the absolute highlight has been meeting such wonderful and inspiring people all over the world. We are incredibly grateful for what we've learned, built, and most importantly, everyone that trusted us to guide them.
For those of you who know us well, you know we often say that "growth happens outside of your comfort zone." This is us stepping outside of our comfort zones into bigger and bolder things.
We hope you'll continue to follow and join us for this next chapter!
See you in the community and on the coding platforms!
Best,
Bob & Julian
